This is the best Peruvian restaurant around, definitely worth a long drive to get here. Delicious food and great flavors, everything I’ve tried here tastes amazing. Very friendly and accommodating staff, everyone is super helpful and attentive. The owner Arturo even stopped by our table to make sure we had everything we needed. I’d definitely recommend this place!
I’ve had the opportunity to eat at a LOT of Peruvian restaurants and this is TOP tier. The texture and flavor of the food ordered was perfect. The staff was extremely welcoming and the restaurant was very clean. They even had live music and everyone was in such a great mood customers got up to dance. Incredible experience. 10/10 would highly recommend. If you’re looking for the best Peruvian food in Orlando, I promise you this is the place!
Food was very good and I had the streak and ????. Would definitely recommend for people that pass by the area or that are in Orlando in general. I would say they would specialize in seafood ????, like tuna, fish, and octopus ????. Their plates are very cute and differ in the type of way their cooked. Yes, their dishes are big for one so basically one seafood dish = 2 people. The service is very good and is attentive. The dish I had which was the steak and rice was a 10/10. The establishment is very nice too because of the painting of leaves and the way they decorated the place.
My family and I went to Mares last Saturday and words cannot truly convey the amazing experience we had. It was our first brush with Peruvian cuisine and it surpassed all our expectations. From the drinks to appetizers and the main dishes we had and unforgettable time. Every single plate was excellent and we were hosted by our server Marco, who explained every menu offering and made incredible suggestions on which plates to order, their origin and history within the Peruvian culinary tradition. Marco is an amazing server that makes you feel at home and that is passionate about his Peruvian roots and takes all the time to describe the flavors and ingredients in each dish. He is the best! Highly recommend this place! Come hungry and willing to try new flavors! Thanks for the great time!
My son had heard about this Peruvian restaurant from a coworker and suggested we try it out. We went for lunch yesterday and we had a wonderful experience. Located in a nice shopping mall, although we had to wait for a table outside for a little bit, the manager or owner kept us updated as to our seating situation. The food was great and service as well. The only reason I gave it a 4 star it’s because i found it the noise level to be loud. Other than that, I highly recommend this restaurant. Outdoor seating is available. I recommend the grilled octopus, Delish!
